Chapter 39 : Revenue

As the strongest witch in history, I somehow ended up being feared so much that I’m all alone. So, I figured I’d buy a cute girl slave and ask her for all kinds of things

The arrival of His Majesty the King went smoothly, and we were able to sell off all our merchandise without any issues.

And with that, we made quite a hefty profit.

“Hehehe, excellent work. I think we’ve made more than enough profit, wouldn’t you say?”

Tia happily counted the money we earned today, a satisfied smile on her face.

“Well then, let’s split the profits for now, shall we?”

With that, Tia handed half of the money to Arona.

“R-Really? Is this much alright…?”

“Yes, of course. This was originally something we did for your sake… Besides, I think tomorrow’s sales will probably be even higher.”

We don’t really need that much money ourselves… That’s not what I’m after. I want to build a system where money isn’t necessary at all.

That’s how it used to be for me.

But thanks to Tia coming along, that system fell through—though happily so—and now we can rebuild it from here.

“…Well, you are a witch. It’s true that customers are likely to increase.”

“I’d like to ask for help from the orphanage tomorrow. Would that be alright?”

“Of course, that would be fine.”

Besides, while I do have some issues with my communication skills, having Tia around means we’ll have plenty of time together.

Hmm… What should we do together, just the two of us? There’s so much I want to do, but honestly, I have very few ideas about entertainment or leisure activities.

What should we do?

I really don’t know. How do people normally spend their time? All I’ve ever focused on in life is magic…

“For now, let’s go to the orphanage today.”

“Yes, I’ll guide you personally.”

Oh, maybe board games would be fun.

I collected a few while traveling across different worlds… Oh, the Rayster Ocean Kingdom might be nice to visit with Tia. It was beautiful there, and I think it’d make for a good tourist spot.

Though, I haven’t done much sightseeing myself.

Still, if Tia’s with me… I wonder if she likes fish? The Rayster Ocean Kingdom is known for its seafood. Seafood… I love seafood.

Maybe I’ll go down to the sea and catch some fish.

“What are you spacing out for? We’re going to the orphanage, Arona?”

While I was lost in my thoughts, Tia called out to me, bringing me back to the conversation with Arona.

“Oh, right.”

I nodded in response to Tia’s words and followed behind as she started walking.
